Founded in the early Middle Ages and boasting a beautiful historic center, the city of Uppsala is certainly worth a gravel riding visit. The region offers good quality hardpack gravel roads, rolling forest roads and the occasional singletrack. On the first weekend of June, NGS features routes of 40, 80 and 160 km through scenic and forest landscapes northwest of the city.

The event provides race timing and marked roads and is part of the overall NGS 2024 classification. The 30 first riders in all categories are awarded points for the NGS 2024 season classification (3 best results taken in account). All participants in the race category need a license (elite, hobby or day license) of the Swedish federation or an international UCI license.

Start and finish are located at Hammarskog Herrgård, 8km west of the city.
The event is limited to 400 participants. This event welcomes riders from all levels and fitness.

Practical information: Uppsala is just 45 mins north of Stockholm-Arlanda Airport and can easily be reached by train. Multiple accommodation options are available in a range of 15km of the event area or in the city center. BMC URS and Kaius rental bikes can be booked during the registration proces.

Event registration Includes:

• Participation in the event
• 1 to 3 food & drink stops on the route (depending on distance) including energy snacks and isotonic drink.
• GPX route downloads & marked 50km route
• Post event food buffet and (please add your dietary preferences to your registration)
• Registration deferral to another participant until one week before the event. Note: for the 2024 season we do no longer provide refunds.
• Participation in the Warmup Ride (optional - free registration)

Registrations can be paid for online with a creditcard, ApplePay or via alternative methods such as Edenred (Finland only), Smartum or ePassi. Payment via bank transfer is possible. Please check our Registration FAQ’s
