#ngsbergslagen - 23-24 August 2024
UPDATED 12.08.24 - 12:00H
This event is part of the Gravel Earth Series 2024
The Bergslagen area, located in central Sweden, is the cradle of the Swedish early industrial wonder with its countless mines and iron ores. Historical villages, connected by excellent gravel roads, are spread out amid the vast forests, lively streams and humble hills.
We invite you to explore the natural beauty and harsh hills in the Kilsbergen mountain range, the picturesque surroundings of Nora as well as the culinary gifts of Grythyttan and beyond. The event will be hosted at Folksparket in the town of Nora, situated 3 hours east of Stockholm. Our local partner Bryggerikroget will serve you top notch local food and craft beers. Routes of 60, 110 and 173km. The 173km race is part of the Gravel Earth Series. The event is limited to 500 participants.
We welcome riders from all fitness levels for a social weekend of gravelgrinding. The event provides race timing and marked roads and is part of the overall NGS 2024 classification. The 30 first riders in all categories are awarded points for the NGS 2024 season classification (2 best results taken in account). All participants in the race category, or who want to be listed in the official results, need a license (elite, hobby or day license) of the Swedish federation or an international UCI license.
